Welcome to Wonder

Beauty, complexity and mystery - the world is full of it.

Join me in my wondering.

About Me

Welcome! Come and wonder with me.

You've landed in a space dedicated to wondering - welcome! Here, we consider both the wonder that stops us in our tracks, and the more active, thinking wonder. Feel free to join in.

I'm Ruth. I'm a Christian, clinical psychologist, author and perpetual wonderer. As both a person of faith and psychologist, you might say I'm primed to wonder. I've been trained professionally to be curious about people and society and to think about what it means for us to live well together. As a human being, I also find myself regularly struck by the incredible features, events and phenomena of the world and its people today.

I work in the NHS and recently wrote a book called Divine Attachment published by Malcolm Down. I love to bring psychological and faithful perspectives to the many varied topics of life. As well as write, I enjoy talking with others, where we get to wonder together. To find out more about me, clink the 'Read More' link. To get in touch, fill in the contact form below.

Divine Attachment
Book

I've written a book that emerged out of my experiences as a Christian working with families and children who have experience of foster care and adoption. Working alongside these people opened my eyes to the amazing story of God as our adoptive father. If you want to find out more or buy a book, click the link to go to the publisher's website.
